Up and coming equipment brand, GForm, has been rising in the baseball space for their protective equipment. Before 2020 began, the brand was looking for athletes to be faces for their upcoming year’s marketing campaign, dubbed “Made For The Moment”. Despite having not played a Major League game, Jonah Davis of the Pittsburgh Pirates’ minor league affiliate the Greensboro Grasshoppers, was pitched for the role due to his personality, his look and his off-field interests. After discussion with GForm, Davis was chosen to represent their elbow guards and shot a full advertising campaign in San Diego at the start of 2020, proving that all athletes, no matter their status in their sport, have value and can be marketed to big brands for their advertising needs. Davis was seen in digital ads, print ads, video spots, and more throughout the 2020 and 2021 MLB seasons, despite there being no MiLB play in 2020. “Look Good. Feel Good. Play Good. It’s that simple. Made for the Moment.”
